Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
For Android users who have downloaded the Adobe Digital Editions app:
If you get the error “No app found to open .acsm files,” or you’ve downloaded the book and authorized ADE and it still isn’t showing up in your library:
Open the Files app
Select Downloads
Locate the .acsm file (it should be the file at the top of the list)
Press the three dots on the right hand side next to the file name
Select Move to > Internal storage
Scroll down until you find the folder named Digital Editions
Select the Digital Editions folder and press “move here”
Once the .acsm file has been manually moved, navigate to the Digital Editions folder in your Files app and select the .acsm file. It will open in Adobe Digital Editions and download your eBook. ***You have to open the .acsm file from the Files app. It won’t show up automatically in ADE even after it has been moved to the correct folder.***
