Yes, however, although individual visitors to the Special Collections reading room do not need to an appointment, class or large group visits require advance correspondence with a member of our instruction and public services team.

We can work with you to schedule class instruction or visit to the reading room. We only ask that you give as much advance notice as possible since the instruction calendar fills up fast. Contacting us early gives enough time for planning and ensures a more engaging experience for your students!
